12th May 2009
Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength:
Surf / Sea State: rough then smooth waves
Air Temperature: 11
Sea Temperature: 10.5
Weather: sun & cloud
Max Speed: 25.0 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 17.6 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Rushed back from London and got to the Dip a bit after 5:30. Passed Mark S and Squiz heading opposite direction and Paul S headed down to Dip as well. Mark and Squiz wathced for a while but decided not to sail - it was better than it looked. Sailed from about 6 to a bit after 7. Saw Paul coming in to downhaul some more so flattened 4.7m off some more, and glad i did. Just about handlable. Water rough but just about OK. As tide dropped water smoothed and waves increased in size. Good place now in NE. I kept out a bit as didn't fancy messing about in steep waves in shore. Paul was jumping good height and packed packed in after about an hour as he promised to be home by 7:30 and did the fastest derig and pack u ever.. I didn't fancy being alone in those conditions made it ashore as well. At low tide no problem launching - great conditions. 4.5 stars - if a bit smoother then 5*.
